We immersed ourselves in the brand to build an engaging website that not only met user needs but exceeded them.
We started by defining Revolución de Cuba’s core brand proposition by undertaking workshops, researching customers and analysing competitors in order to establish the brand’s USPs. We then brought the refreshed brand to life on the website by using bold colours, interaction design and clever user experience.

Our research showed us that the new site needed to drive users to complete bookings, with easy-to-find information and engaging content. We developed a mobile-first website, to improve usability and decrease page loading time. Because we knew that 70% of traffic was coming from mobile devices.
Bold colours, photography and informative, engaging content all aligned to the brand and creative proposition. And interactive elements and animations enhanced the experience (never taking away from key messages) and encouraged users to explore more. The end result was a multisensory digital experience rooted in Cuban culture. Hurra.
Over the years, we’ve supported the launch of new Revolución de Cuba bars all over the UK. Our digital campaigns focus on selling out launch parties, generating pre-booked revenue, and using social media to build awareness. With engaging visuals including GIFs and cinemagraphs, we engage new audiences without alienating existing ones.
The challenge is always to stay on brand, but breathe new life into the brand’s offering. Social media competitions and fun blog content captured the attention of audiences with targeted content, whilst having a clear CTA to pre-book at the bar. So, before the doors are even ready to open, we've got people queuing out the door.
The new website looked flawless and was optimised for SEO too. Because, what’s the point of having a new website if your audience can’t find it? We undertook an SEO audit to tell us exactly what we needed to do. By analysing each page as well as looking at competitors and the current market, we identified problems and provided solutions.
We also created targeted, compelling content in Revolución de Cuba’s tone of voice to help them to get noticed online. Designers, developers and creatives worked together from the beginning of the project to ensure that the website delivered on every level.
